There are Three separate instances of blind men being healed. Also notice Jesus healed them in a different way each time.
1. John 9:6 - "After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes. 7 "Go," he told him, "wash in the Pool of Siloam" (this word means "Sent"). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing."
2. Mark 10:52 "Go," said Jesus, "your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
3. Mark 8:23-25 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man's eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, "Do you see anything?" 24 He looked up and said, "I see people; they look like trees walking around."25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man's eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly
The centurion went to Jesus asking for healing because his servant was paralyzed and suffering. He believed in Jesus' power to heal and showed great faith, asking Jesus to simply speak a word for his servant to be healed. Jesus commended the centurion for his faith and granted his request.
Peter, James and John (Mark 5:37).
Jesus had dealings with many different types of people. Many of His encounters with people are recorded in the Gospels. He was particularly friendly with people who needed Him - people who knew they were sinners and who were outcasts from the society of His day. This drew criticism from the proud religious leaders of His day.
Jesus healed the man at the pool at Bethesada , as he knew that the man was sick for many, many years and he had a desire to get well , but somebody always got in the pool first.
During Jesus' time, the oppressed were often seen as the poor, sick, marginalized groups such as lepers, Samaritans, and women. Jesus preached love, compassion, and justice for all people, especially those who were considered outcasts by society. He challenged social norms and reached out to those who were marginalized or mistreated.
