There are Three separate instances of blind men being healed. Also notice Jesus healed them in a different way each time.
1. John 9:6 - "After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes. 7 "Go," he told him, "wash in the Pool of Siloam" (this word means "Sent"). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing."
2. Mark 10:52 "Go," said Jesus, "your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
3. Mark 8:23-25 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man's eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, "Do you see anything?" 24 He looked up and said, "I see people; they look like trees walking around."25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man's eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly
Jesus evidently healed people with this disease on more than one occasion.
1. One individual with Leprosy. see Matthew 8:1:4 (also in Mark 1:40-44 and Luke 5:12-14)
2. Luke 17:11-19 records 10 men who had this disease who were healed although only one returned to give thanks.
Nowhere does The Bible say Jesus healed ten blind men. But in the Gospel of Matthew Jesus healed two blind men:
Matthew 9:27 When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, "Son of David, have mercy on us!"
In the Gospel of Luke Jesus healed ten lepers:
Luke 17:12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.
How many is not known for Jesus healed many people of blindness and other diseases and infirmities. But we can highlight 8 instances which appear in the four Gospels that are separate from the others where Jesus heals the blind using different methods but always with the power of His divine will.
1. Matthew 9:28 - Two blind men follow Jesus into a house where they have opportunity to ask Jesus to heal them. "29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “It shall be done to you according to your faith.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them: “See that no one knows about this!” 31 But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout all that land.
2. Matthew 11:5, & Luke 7:22 - Certainly when Jesus tells the disciples of John the Baptizer to “Go and tell John what you hear and see: 5 the blind receive their sight...he is referencing recent miracles done in their presence.
3. Matthew 12:22 - A man possessed by a demon who was also blind and mute was healed so that the mute man gained the ability to speak and see.
4. Matthew 15:30 - People were continually bring people to Jesus that needed healing. "large crowds came to Him, bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, mute, ...and He healed them. How many? Very many. So many beyond those few that are recorded.
5. Matthew 20:30-34, & Mark 10:46-51, & Luke 18:35 - Two blind men (Matthew's account) sitting by the road leading out of Jericho heard Jesus was passing and they cried out..."And two blind men sitting by the road, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” ... v. 32-34 "32 And stopping, Jesus called them and said, “What do you want me to do for you?” 33 They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.” 34 And Jesus in pity touched their eyes, and immediately they recovered their sight and followed him. These are not the two in the story from 4. Matthew 9:28 for their healing was done indoors and they went on their way. These two (one is named Bartimaeus) are outside the city and began to follow Jesus.
6. Mark 8:22-26 - In Bethsaida, a blind man is brought to Jesus and Jesus is asked to heal his blindness. Jesus leads him away from the crowd to outside of the city and healed him using His touch in two phases of healing.
