As far as The Bible is concerned, only two children were named and that was just before birth not at birth and they were Jesus Christ and John the Baptist. The Messenger angel Gabriel told Mary in the Gospel of Luke chapter 1, that she would have a child and that this child's name would be Immanuel (translated Savior or Jesus). The Priest in the temple named Zacharias was also told to name his son John. These are the only two children that were named directly by God that I know of from the Bible.
