In the New King James translation:
Savior - 2
Saved - 11
Salvation - 5
The open book held by Christ Pantocrator typically contains the words "Ego Sum Lux Mundi" which translates to "I am the Light of the World" in Latin. This phrase emphasizes Jesus's role as the divine light and savior of humanity.
ICHTHYS - (ik' this), the Greek word for fish, is the acronym of the initial letters of the Greek words for "Jesus Christ, God's Son, Savior."
Beliefs about salvation vary among different religions and denominations. In some branches of Christianity, accepting God's grace and living a faithful life are emphasized for attaining salvation. Whether a person goes to heaven is generally regarded as dependent on their relationship with God, rather than their sexual orientation.
"He is risen" are indeed significant words in Mark's Gospel as they proclaim the central message of the Christian faith, highlighting Jesus' resurrection. This event validates Jesus' identity as the Son of God and is foundational to the Christian belief in salvation.
In the Gospel of John, the words Holy Spirit is used 5 times. In Johns other books (1st, 2nd, 3rd John, and Revelations) the words Holy Spirit are not used. But the word Spirit is use many times, referring to the Spirit of God or Holy Spirit, approximately 40 times in the New International Version of the Holy Bible.
Baptism is valuable because its a symbol that you have been saved and is a born again christian. It is also a command that if you get saved you are suppose to do it. However it is not a requirement of salvation in other words you can still go to Heaven if you are not baptized.
Try 'savior'
Absolutely NOT. For if a Christian lost their salvation by continually sinning then no one would ever be saved as we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. This does not mean, however, that we can sin and not realise the consequences. Christians should always strive to have a repentant heart and to do their utmost to become more Christ-like, but we are saved not through what WE do but by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ in the Cross. By his blood we are saved and not through our own efforts (Rom 9). Therefore, if we sin, we ask for and will receive God's forgiveness if we are truly repentant. If we sin again, we will still receive that forgiveness if we ask for it. How many times? For ever. For all sin. For all time. For as many times as we ask for it. "How many times should I forgive?" asked one questioner of Jesus, "Seven?". "No," said Jesus - "seventy times seven..." . In other words we forgive others constantly and in doing so receive that same forgiveness from God.
Jesus mentioned salvation two times. Once to Zacchaeus:Luke 19:9 And Jesus said to him, "Today salvationhas come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham;and once to the Samaritan woman:John 4:22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvationis of the Jews.Jesus didn't mention salvation a lot because salvation through His death as a sacrifice for sin was not available while He was alive.Jesus came to earth primarily to the Jews to convict them of the way they had forsaken God and His ways. As it says in the verse above 'salvation is of the Jews'. So Jesus came to call the Jews to repentance but they on a whole rejected Him.Many of the parables Jesus taught were directed at the Jews eg The prodigal son.
Which of these words could be a synonym for hero?
Sally Ann is a play on words on the name Salvation Army and its initials S.A.
The study of salvation is called "Soteriology" derived from the two Greek words "soter σοτερ" meaning "to save" and "Logos λογος" meaning "word". It is used mostly in theology but defines how one is saved or how one gets to heaven. A good example of this study is found in the Bible in John 3:1-21 when Nicodemus came to see Jesus.

All the times Savior refers to Christ is ALL the time. The words "THE LORD" or LORD referring to God is actually a mis-translation - replacing God's real name for His title. All times you see LORD in caps you should use His name Yahweh. The Father and Son are called Yahweh as well as the Holy Spirit. God has some 70 names in scripture. LORD is just a title and not a name. Yahweh (or Jehovah) means literally, "He who will be", and occurs 6,829 times in the Old Testament. Yahweh was revealed to Moses as God's new and memorial name, as recorded in Exodus 6:3, which reads, "I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty (Ail Shaddai), but by my name Jehovah (Yahweh) was I not known to them". The difference between Ail Shaddai and Yahweh is that whereas the former only denoted past and present, the latter is prophetical, and therefore full of meaning concerning God's purpose and plan of salvation <--- hence SAVIOR!! The Hebrew word Elohim, translated "God" throughout the first chapter of Genesis, and generally so throughout the Scriptures, occurs about 2,600 times, and in 56 texts in its singular form of Eloah, 41 of which are found in the Book of Job. Well first, it's salvation. Second, the church believed salvation was achieved through buying indulgences (Catholicism). Luther believed that salvation can be achieved by believing in Jesus Christ.
