The Jews and the Samaritans despised each other for a Samaritan to help a Jew was probably unheard of
Choice reaction time.
Most, if not all, of the parables are relevant in todays world. However, modern-day problems of e.g. technology (tv) and so forth are not specifically addressed because there was no tv 2,000 years ago. None of the women were wearing miniskirts like todays women sometimes to, so there's nothing in the Bible that mentions that immorality. Yet, people were told to be respectful, told to be kind to each other, to be patient, those things and more, are very relevant. The parable of the Good Samaritan, for example is still relevant in its meaning, not specifically the words "Samaritan" and so forth, still if someone sees a very poor man begging, the example of the Parable of the Good Samaritan would be: be kind, give him money, give him a place to sleep and clothes to wear, even later help him find a job. In that way, its' also a parable that teaches NON-racism, don't hate other races: as the story goes, the Samaritan was a race hated by the Jews, but Jesus gave the teaching that a Jew can help the Samaritans. OK? So, it's still relevant, today. If you don't know that parable, it might be a good idea to telephone a Christian Church, and ask them for more information. Take care of yourself.
Yes Jacob had two wives, Leah and Rachel, but he committed adultery with both their maid servants.

I believe it was made in around 2001 we need what city your looking for or state, each state made it at different time.
The best answer to your question at this time is "probably". As she followed the Egyptian religion and its customs, its a good chance that she was mummified. Only when they find her tomb, will we know for certain. The best answer to your question at this time is "probably". To say that the Jewish and Samaritan people didn't like each other would be putting it mildly. Therefore, having the "hero" of the parable be a Samaritan was quite a shock. In addition, note that the priest (who should have been a "good guy") didn't offer to help the injured man at all - same for the others who "passed him buy".
Yes. The law was made to protect volunteers and as long as you are not being compensated for your time, you are covered. Be aware, a coke can be construed as payment for services rendered.
Customs and traditions change all the time.
They are called "Bunad" and they are used on 17th May, it's when we celebrate and have a good time, and then we have traditions and that's when the Bunad comes in.
this is a waste of time
Jesus told the parable of "The good Samaritan". The Samaritans were hated by the Jews. However when a Jew had been robbed and beaten the only person that would stop to help was a Samaritan. His own people passed him by and did not want to get involved. Jesus was telling us that we should help others regardless of their background, race, religion or any other differences. We are all one people and we should help each other. Just as God loves us all we should love each other. We may not love what others are doing but we are to love them as a person. Help those in need, pray for those that need prayer. Thus Jesus Himself did not do anything directly in the story of the Good Samaritan, although He certainly lived by the principles He taught.
Customs have evolved significantly over time due to factors such as globalization, technological advancements, and cultural exchanges. Traditional practices may adapt or fade as societies become more interconnected, leading to the blending of customs from different cultures. Additionally, shifts in social norms and values, influenced by movements for equality and human rights, have transformed customs related to gender roles, family structures, and celebrations. As a result, customs reflect the changing dynamics of society and the ongoing negotiation of identity.
There is tons!!! Many of them are really cool. I suggest going to read them. One of my favorites is the story of the Good Samaritan. It’s a story about this guy who gets mugged and left on the street. The first man who walked by was a priest, and he walked on the other side of the road away from the injured man. The next guy was a Levite (assistant to the priest) who also walked by on the other side. Finally, a Samaritan walked by and helped the guy. He took him to an Inn to be cared for, and payed for his stay. So, what’s so ironic about it being a Samaritan? Well, Samaritan’s in that time weren’t very good people. The Good Samaritan showed Jesus command, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Most people who think that a neighbor is a friend or a family member. Incorrect. Your neighbors are everyone around you. Even your enemies. Jesus wants us to be kind to everyone, even if they hurt us. I recommend digging deeper into the book, because there are so many other cool stories he teaches.
