YEs. God loves to hear what you want. It was him that gave you those desires. I must warn you that some of the best answered prayers are when God doesn't answer with what you thought you wanted. He loves you so much, and he wants to protect you from evil. Imagine you are asking for a certain partner...why would God give you one if She/he is evil? Just remember, even when you can't hear him...He is there.

What did God send as a sign the He did not approve of Israel's asking for a king?

God sent a thunderstorm during the wheat harvest as a sign that he did not approve of Israel's request for a king. This storm was a display of God's power and displeasure with their desire to have a king like the other nations.

What four things does God's word do?

In asking about "God's Word", the assumption is that one is asking about the holy books of the TaNaKH and The New Testament. Here's one answer. God's Word: 1. Inspires spirituality, builds society; 2. Frees one from despair and social selfishness; 3. Causes pain and death when used as a weapon against others; 4. Oppresses those viewed as "outsiders".

How do baptists prey?

Baptists typically close their eyes when they pray so as not to be distracted. They talk to God, usually thanking Him for things He has given them or asking Him for help in certain areas of their lives. Praying is simple. All you have to do is talk to God. He is always listening.

Why do Catholics build churches in honor of saints and worship them?

To clarify, we do not worship anyone but God himself. We, a monotheistic religion do not worship someone that is under the rule of God, it is illogical. Saints did not do good things to be worshipped, they did good things because they wanted to serve God, to bring glory to his name. Their works weren't meant to bring attention to themselves, but to God, but they can't completely keep themselves humble once they have become canonized as saints. What appears to be worshipping saints is really just asking them to intercede for us2, and asking them to pray for us*. We also venerate and honour these saints as well, praising them but not worshippnig them.It has nothing to do with worshipping saints but honouring them and praying to God through them.---- *We know that we can pray directly to God, but this is a more humble way of praying to Him. Also, they are saints, they are close to the Lord so their prayers would be more powerful than ours, since they are in heaven, they already know how to perfectly pray to God.2 Pray to God through someone else. Kind of like asking someone to tell another person something. One exapmle of this is Moses, only he could talk to God so people would ask Him to tell God.
