Is everything destined or you can change?

More often than not destiny may be changed provided the following criteria are duely fulfilled:- # The person involved makes every effort to help improve his lot or situation from bad or worse to good and better. # He does this very sincerely both to himself and to God and upon his very own initiatives, i.e. not dure to any pressure from any outside party. # He prays dearly for God's guidance and suplements for all his wishes to be fulfilled and/or accomplished. # Meanwhile he supplements the above by extending good deeds to others in need. # Finally, with the will of God his destiny may be changed, God Willing! Destiny is explained as an event (or a course of events) that will inevitably happen in the future.

It would seem then that destiny is governed by the present, whatever happens, or whatever action we take now will eventually bring about a result (Destiny).

Ones own destiny is governed by ones actions and even ones thoughts, or by the intervention of the actions of others.

It may be said that "He will become a great doctor", but his destiny to become so is governed by his actions today. If he fails to study then his destiny will no doubt change and he may become a Ward Orderly.

A persons destiny is inevitable, whatever the outcome, it all lies within ourselves. Every action, every thought this very minute will produce a result (Destiny) the next minute.

Everything is destined by god to happen and we can change nothing even if we want to change it. Although, if you do not have strong belief of that, you may decide to change things your own way, maybe do something you've never tried before. Never hurts to try something new.

If you are asking the question with a particular belief system in mind it'd be necessary to know which system you are inquiring about.

Otherwise, without a specific belief system to instruct you in its own view of destiny, you might be best to follow your own personal instincts and beliefs, bearing in mind that - whether for religious or other reasons - to decide one cannot change, or even try to do so, could be a very negative way of viewing one's life, a view which may be wasteful at best and destructive or even dangerous at worst.

In the absence of definite evidence to the contrary, trying to live the best way you can might be the way to go. Going for the best can perhaps do less harm than going for the status quo or for nothing at all in the belief nothing's worth trying because the results are all fixed.

While some believe in destiny, others believe in free will. It's a combination of both – certain events may be predetermined or influenced by fate, but we also have the ability to make choices and influence the course of our lives. Ultimately, it's a balance between what is meant to be and what we make of our circumstances.
