Hello.

A dad is someone who has given us life, guidance, and support for us to be successful and happy , and is also there for days of distress.

Having that in mind, The Bible helps us to discover what kind of God is Jehovah. So let me walk you through a few Scriptures that will remind us who Jehovah God is.

According to the Book of Revelation 4: 11, you can read " You are worthy, Jehovah our God, to receive the glory and the honour and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they came into existence and were created. Genesis chapter 1 is the description of God's creation.

God presented himself in these words in Isaiah 42: 8. " I am Jehovah. That is my name.. Isaiah 54: 5 " Jehovah of armies is his name." Psalms 83: 18. " may people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.

The meaning of that name is : " He cause to Become "

When God created Adam and Eve His purpose was that mankind live forever happy on earth, and take good care of it. Read Genesis 2: 15-17. It was however required that they continue to listen to their Father Jehovah if they wanted to remain his loving children. Well! that did not happen, due to their disobedience. Read Genesis chapter 3 which is mankind's history.

Our father Jehovah has not changed, He still wants us to be His happy children, expressed in these words in Psalms 1: 1,2." Happy is the man/woman who does not walk according to the advice of the wicked and does not stand on the path of sinners....But his delight is in the law of Jehovah, And he reads His law in an undertone (he meditates) day and night.

The wicked one is described in Revelation 12: 9 in these words. " The original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth.

Remember what Satan told Eve according to Genesis 3: 4, he told her that she will be like God, knowing good and bad,. Well! that did not happen, did it? Genasis 3: 16-19 shows that she discovered what it meant to be imperfect and finally returned to dust with her husband Adam, where they were taken from. They both brought on mankind the life that we are living today. Read Romans 5: 12 which shows that through one man sin ( the lost of perfection ) entered into the world and death etc...

Isaiah 48: 17,18 shows how loving Jehovah, as a Father is, in these words. " I, Jehovah, am your God, The One teaching you to benefit yourself, The One guiding you in the way you should walk. if only you would pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

A river inspires peace and the waves of the sea never stop. Read Psalms 119 : 165; Isaiah 32: 18; 66. 12. These scriptures give you the idea of what kind of Father Jehovah God is.

For the moment our planet is in a mess, but God's Kingdom ( His government ) that Jesus told us to pray for in Matthew 6: 9,10 promises that God's wll, will be done as in heaven also on earth. Read Daniel 2: 44.

Psalms 37: 29 shows that only the righteous ones will possess the earth and live forever on it. So feel free to be part of God's purpose as obedient children. 1 Timothy 2: 4,5 reads. " Whose will ( God's wil) is that all sorts of people should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men. a man, Christ Jesus . Remember the meaning of God's name. ( He cause to Become )and Jehovah is a God that cannot lie, confirmed in Titus 1: 2

So to answer your question of " If God is our Dad " Well there are only two influences. Satan's influence or Jehovah's influence.

One who tells the truth and one who is known to be a liar. Read John 8: 44 which shows that when Satan speaks, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of the lie.

I suggest you read 1 John 5: 19,20. We are all free to chose Jehovah as our Father. Read Matthew 6: 9 which says. " Our Father in the heavens let your name be sanctified, let your kingdom come"

In one way God is our dad but actually He is not. The relationship between God and human beings is just like a relationship between a scientist and his robots. All human beings are just robots made of flesh and bones and toys of the spirits for their games. To know well about human beings you need some fundamental computer knowledge and spiritual knowledge. To make a robot to recognize its maker, it must be programmed in that way. The same is the case with the human beings. It is like a maker recognizing himself. Human beings create computer programs by typing the letters. God creates different kinds of spirits for all creatures including human beings. Spirits play the part of the computer programs. God always wish human beings to discover anything themselves. It is an interesting game to Him. Spirits' lifetime is limited. They say that they too have an end and they live approximately 400 to 500 years in this world. All spirits don't have the same intelligence. God is a mystery even to the spirits. I guess that there may be eternal beings or higher elements. These eternal beings or higher elements may be watching the activities of the spirits and other invisible elements.

God never bothers whether people believe in him or not. God's direct intervention in individuals' affairs is very rare. God doesn't watch each and every human being at the same time and cannot live with each and everyone to guide them. These works are done by the spirits. God had created different kinds of spirits for various purposes. He had made the spirits to watch, guide and determine the destiny of the human beings from their daily activities, talks and thoughts too. Your past determines your present and your present determines your future. God has given freewill to all creatures including human beings. According to this, all human beings have all right to live a life as they wish. But if it happens to be bad and hurts someone, they have to face the consequences. These consequences are created by spirits. It's a natural system. After death no one lives in any form. Heaven and hell are only for spirits, not for human beings. God is a mystery even to the spirits. Spirits are not eternal beings but their lifetime is long. Spirits are separate elements. A human being during his/her lifetime is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. They are knowledge, skills, feelings, emotions, instincts, interests and everything. Further there will be always some spirits with you on behalf of your parents, friends, relatives and Gods you believe. Only these spirits make you remember them in a certain situations. All of these spirits are your consciousnesses and memories. Even thoughts are not your own. For example, when you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another the spirits think and you just listen, choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts. A mind is a group/formation of many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. A mind is just like a computer's mind. After the computer is completely destroyed you will not get its mind. The same is the case with the human beings. A brain is a device used by the spirits to control the body and mind. (A senior spirit or a chief can control other spirits) A human being doesn't have a spiritual body. Soul is an energy needed for the functionality of a body. It is not a spirit or anything else. A body's functionality is based on the auto mechanism. After death all spirits which accompanied a person quit and go to different places searching new bodies. No one lives after death in any form. All human beings are just robots made of flesh and bones and toys of the spirits for their games.
