Not necessarily. Some people are just shy by nature of their personality. To accuse a person of being unChristian in this regard would be unfair. The Scriptural injunction of Christ was to love your neighbor as yourself. This presupposes that you love yourself. So loving yourself becomes the measure; indeed, if you do not love yourself, you will be incapable of loving others effectively! The second part of this injunction which Christ spoke about was about loving God with you whole heart, your whole strength and your whole being which obviously is also based on loving yourself. if you believe you are not lovable, how can you offer your lack of love to God? So when Christ summed up this Jewish teaching for those who were testing him, he really set before them an uncompleted task that men must strive to complete. It often takes a lifetime for some people! love of Self and love of Neighbor and love of God are all connected. Christ would carry this injunction even a step further when he told his followers that they must even love their enemies! We are called to perfection by Christ. it is not as easy as being a people person only. So I think Christ set for us an even higher standard when he gave us the example of his submission to his Father's will by his death on the cross. For no man can show a greater love than to lay down his life for others. These calls to a more perfect love are the proofs of true holiness, not just being an extroverted "people person"! We all know of examples of so-called people person's who can also be vicious gossips or backstabber's as they pretend to serve others. We know them as hypocrites whom Christ seems to have had some strong words for! The important lesson is to love other's as best as you can, and leave judgment to others. St. Paul gave us some great lessons on Charity in his epistles. They are much more than just checking the boxes or being people pleaser's. So did St. John in his first letter when he said: "God is love. He who dwells in love dwells in God; and God in him".

No, it is not unchristian to not be a people person. Christianity teaches acceptance and understanding of different personalities and temperaments. It is important to be respectful and kind towards others, but being introverted or less social does not go against Christian teachings.
