FIrst off Atlas was not a greek god he was a Titan. Second he was known to be arrogant and ruthless. Atlas is seen as being sadistic and arrogant. He has a short temper and takes great pride in being Kronos' second in command. However, his rash personality also proved to be his greatest weakness, sometimes causing him to seriously underestimate his opponents.

Does God choose your personality or do you choose how you act for instance how outgoing a person is or how reserved?

This question is basically a nature vs. nurture question. With all of these types of questions it is never cut and dry. There is a certain amount of genetics that are at play but we are conditioned in certain ways too. Usually personality traits are passed on by the parents, they also shape the personality through the upbringing too. That is the clinical secular answer, now for the spritual and as I would consider real answer. Yes He does. We are shaped by His design and are called to whatever His purpose is. Whatever your personality it is somehow someway in His plan.

What was the New Testament written in?

Aramaic. The Aramaic copies (such as the Peshitta) are older than any greek. Additionally, the greek has many Aramaic words that merely became transliterated from the Aramaic instead of translated. Such as "amen", "anathema", "halleluyah", etc. Lastly, the NT was written in Aramaic/Hebrew prose with several Hebrew word "puns" that translate into terrible greek form. Also, the Aramaic corrects some bad greek translations like instead of "a camel through the eye of a needle" it says "a rope through the eye of a needle"

What was bad about Hellenization?

There were some among the Greeks who resented the influx of non-Greek elements into Greek culture (Hellenization was not a one-way street). This created some degree of conflict among the Greeks themselves (Professor Peter Green, in "Alexander to Actium").The native Greeks often considered themselves superior to others, whom they sometimes persecuted or subjected to discrimination (ibid). The Greeks brought their pantheon and their legal code to the lands which they colonized, including whatever excesses that these contained. To those peoples who had been steadfastly religious, the Greek concepts of agnosticism (from the Sophists) and materialism (from the Epicurians) were now introduced. Some of the ancients viewed Hellenization as a decline and as a reduction in freedom and excellence (Herodotus, quoted in T. Holland's "Persian Fire").
