The 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit, as mentioned in The Bible, are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. These gifts are believed to be bestowed upon individuals to help them live a Christian life and grow closer to God.
Some of the spiritual gifts that one can receive from God include wisdom, faith, healing, discernment, prophecy, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, serving, teaching, and encouragement. These gifts are believed to be given by the Holy Spirit to empower believers to serve others and build up the church. Different individuals may receive different gifts based on God's plan and purpose for their lives.
It is believed by some that spiritual gifts are given with the expectation that they will be used, and not utilizing them may result in them becoming dormant or less effective. However, it is ultimately up to individual interpretation and belief. It is encouraged to explore and develop one's spiritual gifts for personal growth and helping others.
Romans 12:5-7 emphasizes the idea that all believers are united in Christ, yet each individual has unique gifts and roles within the body of Christ. It encourages humility, service, and using one's gifts for the benefit of the community of believers. The verses suggest that different individuals have different abilities, but all are important for the functioning of the church.
John 10:28 - "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand." This verse emphasizes the eternal security believers have in God, that nothing and no one can separate them from His love and the gifts He has for them.
The scripture you are referring to is likely Matthew 7:11, where Jesus says, "If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!" This passage emphasizes the boundless generosity and love of God towards those who seek Him.
God's gift to you is a life and the Holy Spirit.
God's greatest gift is Jesus

Well, one belief is that you are given spiritual gifts by God, and if you use those gifts to serve others then they grow, and if you don't use them then they wither. Another belief is that you can cultivate gifts that you weren't given through petitioning God.

No all abilities are gifts from God.
1.Corinthians 12:7-11 we can read about gifts that are manifestation of the Spirit for common good. Manifestation, a sign of God's Spirit at work. Generally these are gifts for one time for a specific need, although often God may use one person to perform several healings, this does not mean that person has some inside information or that everyone he prays for will be healed, simply God is choosing to use him. Other such gifts are: - utterance of wisdom (this could be ability to apply God's truth in decision making) - utterance of knowledge (ability to bring up the wisdom of God at an opportune moment, or knowing something by getting a revelation from God) - miracles - prophecy - ability to distinguish spirits (ability to tell if something was done by God or by evil one) - speaking in tongues - interpreting tongues
