they think they suffer because of their sin or its inherited from your parents or its the result of free will.

If by suffering you mean persecution, then it is a reality for many Christians in the world in various forms, especially in countries with repressive governments and few freedoms. Martyrs are being made as you read this. See the Web Link to the left. None of this should surprise a Christian though, as the following verses point out. Christians should not pity themselves, but understand the underlying reasons.

16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be you therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. 17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; 18 And you shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. 19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what you shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what you shall speak. 20 For it is not you that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. 21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 22 And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endures to the end shall be saved. 23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee into another: for verily I say to you, you shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. 24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner and a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

For what glory is it, if, when you are buffeted for your faults, you shall take it patiently? but if, when you do well, and suffer for it, you take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps.

We suffer because of the difference in our soul and spirit. A lot of the time we live out of our souls and we do what we want to do instead of what God wants us to do. We want life to be the way we want it to be instead if being the servants we were meant to be. We were created to love one another but in reality we end up only loving ourselves. We get a plan and when it doesn't work out we blame God. When we are not in God's will for our lives we literally open the door wide open for our souls and the evil one to kill steal and destroy. This is a huge theological debate. The bottom line is this: if we are in the Word and we are obedient to the Holy Spirit and we keep our souls in control under the Spirit, we will suffer in soul only, not in spirit. Life is short. This is only a test !

We suffer because there is evil in the world, and Satan is in the world. He is trying to destroy as many people as he can, and makes particular targets out of those who are doing work for God, as they're a threat to him. We don't live in a perfect world but a sinful, fallen one, and as such there are people and circumstances that are not of God. Death, crime, sickness, etc. are here because of that fallen world, but God is able to use even those things for His glory, and help people to overcome them and learn from them. He has made many wonderful things happen due to things that Satan meant for harm.

Many choose to reject God and they turn away. Many fall away to the world and get caught up in its fancies. Yet many turn to God, as is the right thing to do...they lean on Him for strength. They realize that the only way to make it through the pain is to trust Him. And that's how it should be

Christians are people, and people respond to suffering in individual ways. Most of us, Christian or otherwise, avoid suffering for ourselves and try to help others who are suffering. There is no evidence that, in general, a person's religion affects the way he or she responds to suffering.

Life is full of suffering?

Suffering is an important part of an ignorant life. Those who live with ignorance make suffering a very important part because ignorance is the cause of suffering. But is it necessary to suffer? It is not. Although we will suffer in the beginning, if we go in quest of the truth, if we ask, investigate and realize we are the Divine Soul, then we will be free from the triple suffering of the body, mind and ego. Otherwise, suffering becomes not an important part, but an integral part of life. Every human being who lives as ME, the mind and ego suffers. We experience physical pain, we are miserable because of fear, worry, depression and we are so anguished by anger, hate, revenge, jealousy only because we are ignorant. All suffering can disappear on enlightenment.
