The belief in the existence of God is called theism. It is the view that at least one deity exists.
Not sure what you mean by "emphasis on"...but the belief and worship of one deity is "mono-theism". As opposed to "poly-theism"
Belief in God is commonly referred to as theism. Theism is the belief in the existence of at least one deity or god. This belief can manifest in various forms, such as monotheism (belief in one god), polytheism (belief in multiple gods), or pantheism (belief that god is synonymous with the universe).
Pantheism is the belief that Nature itself is divine and that God acts through the forces of Nature. All things therefore are divine. Panentheism is the belief that God is present in all things, especially in people. Many Christians are panentheists and opposed to theism, which concentrates on God "out there" or "up there".
Theism is the term that refers to the belief in the existence of a god or some type of supreme being.
Ism: represents Belief In or Commitment To. Theism: "theos" means god or God; "a belief in or commitment to God" Pan-theism: "pan" means All, Everywhere; "a belief or commitment to a god being everywhere or in all things" A-theism: "a" means Not, Negative-of; "a belief that there is no God" Mono-theism: "mono" means One, Single, Undivided; "a belief that there is only one God"
it is impossible to know who/what/when theism was founded; its one of those unknowable things.newtest3
