In the case of circumcision there is the argument that if the foreskin is left there and if proper attention is not paid to hygiene under the foreskin there is the risk of infection and a reduction in the owner of the affected penis to make more children. this in turn would have the affect of weakening the strength of the tribe or country to which he belongs.
