What did the ocean create the waves from? The ocean created the waves from itself. From the ocean come the waves, the bubbles, the froth. So also, God is the Divine energy. It is from God's own Divine energy that God first created the universe, the power of the sun, the moon, the stars, and then put the power in the birds, the animals, the flowers. He also put power in you and me. Therefore, everything that we see in this world appears to be matter, but even science has proved that the tinest particle of a human cell called quark, when examined under a microscope, is nothing but energy. What is this energy? It is the Divine energy of God. Therefore, this whole world is nothing but God.

According to tradition, God created the universe from nothing (Exodus 20:11, Isaiah 40:28; Rashi commentary to Genesis 1:14; Maimonides' "Guide," 2:30; Nachmanides on Gen. 1:1). The creation of the universe is covered in the early chapters of Genesis, which according to tradition form a single narrative describing the same events, briefly and then in detail (Rashi commentary, Gen.2:8). Wellhausen's claims have been debunked one by one, as Archaeology and other disciplines have demonstrated the integrity of the Torah. No fragments have ever been found that would support his Documentary Hypothesis, which remains nothing more than an arbitrary claim, whose falsehood has been pointed out:

There are two creation stories in Genesis:

1. Verses 1:1 to 2:4a (up to first sentence of 2:4); [2] 2:4b to 2:22. In this first account, there was a pre-existing watery chaos. The ocean was already present and a wind moved across the surface. The seas rested on the dry land, which appeared on day 3 when God gathered the waters together.
2. The second story, Genesis 2:4b to 2:15, says that there was pre-existing dry land, but God had yet to make it rain for plants to grow. A spring arose and God took some moist clay and made Adam. We find that God continues to use moist clay to model each of the animals, which he then brings to life, and Adam's side or rib to create Eve. If God could not even make living things out of nothing in this account, we do not have to speculate that he had previously created the earth out of nothing.
   

It may seem surprising that, in both creation stories, the basics were already there - the waters, the dry land, the wind and therefore the air. Many experts in Hebrew have carefully examined the texts and confirm that this is what they say. The biblical creations were not ex nihilo.
