What did Jesus accomplish when he died and rose from the dead?

From the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden all people born from then until now are born spiritually dead. This condition has only one cure. God through the nation of Israel made many promises of redemption and by believing what He has told us in the Bible we can come to salvation. Approximately 2000 years ago God sent His Son, Jesus the Christ into our world as a human being, a Baby, so that mankind would have a way to become spiritually alive to God. God required a perfect sacrifice to pay for all the sin that men are guilty of. Jesus, the Son of God qualified as that sacrifice because He was the sinless one of God. He literally came to earth to die for man's sin and that is what He did. He went to the cross and suffered and died taking our sin with Him and was buried for three days and three nights arising on Sunday morning. Jesus is the only cure for sin and He is the only way to the Father (God) in heaven.

We are told in the Book of Romans 10:9-10, "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

When Jesus died and rose from the dead, he accomplished salvation for humanity by conquering sin and death. His resurrection validated his claims and teachings, offered hope for eternal life, and granted believers forgiveness and reconciliation with God. This event also demonstrated God's power and love for all people.
