(Acts 7:56) Saint Steven's feast day is celebrated on the 26th of December, the day after Christmas. He is the patron Saint of Alter servers and the guild for alter servers is named after him, "The Guild of Saint Steven". He was also the first Christian martyr and his dead was the panicle for the brutal oppression that many Christian followers likewise suffered.
