Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
That we will have a divine relationship with the living God and live for Eternity with him. Me personally, as well as many others, don't care for anything in return besides his love for us witch is unfathomable.

One Explanation:Jehovah God has provided his Son Christ Jesus as the means by which 'everlasting life' will be brought back to mankind. Mankind lost everlasting life, when Adam and Eve sold their (unborn) offspring into slavery of sin, and it's accompanying result of Death. That's why we all will die. To dust we shall return, from whence we came. We came from non-existence; that's where we will return.

But God has provided a means for salvation from death's grip. Yet -- if we don't accept God's means for providing salvation, then we don't get salvation. We will enter death's grip. There is no other means for salvation provided. You can't save yourself. The doctors can't even save you. But Jehovah God has promised a wonderful INHERITANCE to 'the meek'. Actually we did not come from non existence, if you study and research a reliable bible, that is one that is rooted in the original Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic languages where you can pull out the meanings of the words that were recorded you will find there really IS an eternal life, and an eternal HELL.

Where we came from:

Gen 2: 7 And the LORD God formed manof the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Mans physical body was fashioned of the mortar and clay, cement in the original language.

But this is where they physical part ends, man is also made in the image of God, God is a spirit (John 4:24). Man possesses a spirit, this is how and why we are able to communicate and have a personal relationship with God himself.

As in the image of God, he is an eternal spirit, at conception we too are spirit. When Satan told Adam and Eve that they would not die IF they ate the apple. He only told them half of the truth. They would not die a PHYSICAL death, at that time. BUT they WOULD die a spiritual death that would separate them from God. It is appointed for all men to die, it is a spiritual law that can not be broken. Hebrews 9:27

Once a spirit being is brought into existence it is eternal. No where in the word of God does it ever imply anything different. It is forever eternal, and living. He knew us BEFORE we were formed in our mother's womb. Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee

Our personal reasoning, thought processes, intelligence will lead us to God through the drawing of his Holy spirit. After death ALL men will stand judgement in some form. Hebrews 9:27 again.

At judgement, depending on which one you have prepared yourself for. A believer or one that dies without Jesus in your sins...

Believers will be judged according to the things they have done for the kingdom, the life they have lived according to the word of God. Our rewards will be given in and we will enter into God's presence and eternal service.

Those that die in their sins without having accepted Jesus and the penalty he paid with his blood, and life will be able to give an account of themselves as well. READ 2 PETER THE WHOLE SECOND CHAPTER...

For them judgement will not be a happy thing... Once God pronounces their sentence it will be an eternity separated from God. This is the second death. WE DO NOT PASS INTO NOTHINGNESS... FAR FROM IT.

Many religions will tell you that God is love and he would never harm anyone much less punish anyone with eternal torment. The Word of God completely disproves this "theory" over and over again. Jesus taught numerous times on the eternal punishment of the wicked, it is throughout the entire bible. It is a foundational principal of understanding scripture.

All men will spend eternity somewhere, where is their choice. Either with the God of the heavens and earth that sent his son to die for them...
