The Beatitudes are eight commands that Christians believe Jesus gave to them to follow so that they could get to Heaven.
They are the following:
The Beatitudes are a set of blessings stated by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount in the Gospel of Matthew. They describe the characteristics and virtues that are important for followers of Jesus, such as humility, meekness, mercy, and righteousness. They teach about the values of the Kingdom of God and how to live a life that is pleasing to God.
'Beatitude'(Gk:makarios/Hb:esher)means 'felicity' or 'happiness'. There are 24 'happinesses' mentioned in the book of Psalms (Psalm 1:1+2/Psalm 2:12/Psalm 40:4/Psalm 41:1/Psalm 112:1/Psalm 146:5+6...) and nine more in Jesus' Sermon on the Mount(Matthew 5:3-12), and elswhere(Romans 14:22) that show us how to be truly happy. They are directed to true worshipers of the "Happy God" of The Bible(1 Timothy 1:11).

The Beatitudes are a set of teachings by Jesus found in the Gospel of Matthew in the Bible. They are commonly known as the Sermon on the Mount, and are considered to be a central part of Jesus' teachings on how to live a blessed and righteous life.
Saint Patrick is not directly associated with following the Beatitudes from the Bible, which were teachings by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. However, Saint Patrick's life reflected principles of humility, mercy, and peacemaking, which are central themes in the Beatitudes. He lived a life of forgiveness, compassion, and faithfulness to God, which align with the values emphasized in the Beatitudes.
The Beatitudes were likely written during the time of Jesus, around the 1st century AD, as part of the Gospel of Matthew and the Gospel of Luke in the New Testament of the Bible. These teachings are attributed to Jesus and outline the blessings that come from living a life of humility, compassion, and righteousness.
Jesus taught the Beatitudes during the Sermon on the Mount, as described in the Gospel of Matthew, chapters 5-7. This sermon contains teachings on various aspects of ethical living and spiritual practice. The Beatitudes specifically outline blessings for those who embody qualities such as humility, mercy, and peacemaking.
