One Christian's thoughts:
To a Christian, The Bible is God's word, so would express his opinion.
Rather than telling people to lead a violent revolt or mutiny when something bothers them, the Bible says that Christians must be peaceable with all men (Romans 12:17-21) and obedient to the superior authorities(Romans 13:1-2), giving honor and respect to those who require it, whether we feel they personally deserve it, or not(Romans 13:7). Infact, we are told to LOVE our enemies and PRAY for those persecuting us(Matt 5:43-48)(1 Peter 3:17),never returning 'evil for evil'(Romans 12:14,17), maintaining fine conduct among the nations( 1 Peter 2:12)(Matthew 5:10-12)(James 1:2-4).
Jesus set the perfect example (1 Peter 2:19-23), never striking back at his opposers, though he could have called armies of angels to help him. Instead, when Peter drew his sword to physically defend Jesus, he said: "Return your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword..."(Matthew 26:52-53). His apostles later followed his lead. Even when these authorities whipped them and told them to stop preaching about Jesus, they did not mutiny or lead a revolt, they simply kept preaching, saying: "...we must serve God as ruler, rather than men", (Acts 5:27-29)and "we cannot stop speaking about the things we have seen and heard." (Acts 4:18-20)For this, many paid with their lives, but God will reward their faith(Hebrews 6:10) .
In Christianity, the Bible teaches believers to respect and obey authority, as it is established by God. Revolution or mutiny can be seen as going against God's ordained authority structures, unless it is in response to tyranny or injustice and is pursued with peaceful means in accordance with biblical principles. Ultimately, each situation should be considered carefully in light of the teachings of scripture and through prayerful discernment.
