The Catholic Mass is the central act of worship in the Catholic Church where believers come together to participate in the Eucharist, or Holy Communion, by receiving the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. It is a sacred ritual that commemorates the Last Supper and allows Catholics to express their faith, seek forgiveness, and strengthen their relationship with God. The Mass is considered a re-presentation of Christ's sacrifice on the Cross and plays a crucial role in the spiritual life of Catholics.
