The title "Right Reverend" is an honorific traditionally used for bishops in some Christian denominations. It is used to show respect and authority within the Church hierarchy.
Exousia is a Greek word often translated as "authority" or "power." It refers to the right or ability to act in a certain way, especially within a specific domain. In the context of Christianity, it can also connote spiritual authority or influence.
Benjamin was the son of Jacob and one of his wives, Rachel. The birth of Benjamin was very, very painful for Rachel. When Benjamin was born Rachel named him, with her dying breath, Benoni, meaning Son of My Pain. Jacob altered the name to Benjamin, literally meaning Son of the Right. People assume this to mean the right hand. The right was associated with riotousness, strength, and courage. The name Benjamin in Hebrew is Bin-Yamin. Bin means Son of and Yamin means Right. The word right also means south, so Benjamin's name might be describing the location of his birth. Side note, my name is Benjamin.
Right judgment is also known as one of the seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit: Council. The Gift of Counsel enables a person to judge promptly, correctly and, as it were, intuitively. It helps us to judge what acts are good and ought to be done, and which are evil and ought to be avoided. The gift of Right Judgment is linked to and perfects the virtue of prudence, which is making good decisions using reason enlightened by our faith. The Holy Spirit's gift of Right Judgment and practicing the virtue of prudence makes us receptive to God and directs our actions toward holiness as well as eternal life.
The title given to the Gospel writers is "Evangelist," which means a person who shares the Christian message or "good news." They were called Evangelists because they were responsible for spreading the teachings and stories of Jesus Christ through their writings.
This thought was originally recorded as a prophecy at Psalm 110:1 where it says: "Jehovah (YHWH)saith unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool"(ASV)To be at someone's RIGHT hand means that you're in a position of favor (Matthew 25:33). The Right Hand is also the 'action hand', gets things done, and suggests 'actively supporting' something(Revelation 13:16). If someone is at a king's 'right hand' they are trusted as a support. Someone might say: "He's my 'right hand man'! Someone who can act FOR you, think LIKE you, and do as you say. When warriors fought with swords, they usually fought with their RIGHT hand, while carrying their shield in the LEFT, therefore, their RIGHT hand was unprotected, so a friend would stay by their right side and fight for them, much as God does for his people (Psalm 16:8/Psalm 109:30+31/Psalm 110:5/Psalm 121:5)standing at their 'right hand'.When God (YHWH)prophesied, through David, about the coming of his judgement on the earth, He was speaking to his Messiah ('anointed one') when he said to wait 'at my right hand'...ready to act when the time came... THEN, when God had put Messiah's enemies in place, to GO and 'Rule in the midst of your enemies'(KJV)When Jesus died, as a sacrifice for the sins of repentant mankind, this prophecy was applied to him (Mark 12:36/Matthew 22:44 /Hebrews 10:13). When he rose from the dead and, as prophesied, 'sat at the right hand of God'(Mark 16:19/Luke 22:69/Acts 2:33-35/Romans 8:34), in a Heavenly position (Philippians 2:9)(Ephesians 1:20/Colossians 3:1),having angels made subject to him (1 Peter 3:22), he waited for centuries, for God's command to conquor and RULE as King, as spoken of at Psalm 2:1-9 and Revelation 19:11-21.

I would imagine it is a matter of preference and situation. For example, if you were to give a speech, the question usually comes up, "how would you liked to be addressed?" Thus, I guess it depends on the audience, the environment you find yourself in, and your personal preference. Your a reverend who holds a doctorate, and a doctor who is a reverend. What is more important to you, that people see you as a reverend or doctor? Search your heart (you know what I mean) and I am sure you will come up with the right answer for yourself. Either way you look at it, you have been blessed with great accomplishments. Best wishes!!

Hello, I am Reverend Kenneth Kautz and I just put the word, or title, reverend in a sentence. If you see me walking down the street sometime, you could say you saw a reverend walking down the street. An archbishop of a church is The Most Reverend. As far as etymology, reverend may mean respected, but is more than often referring to an ordained clergyperson.
In the Catholic Faith, an ordained Priest is called "Reverend"; a "transient " Deacon (a man studying for the Priesthood) is called "Reverend Mister"; a Permanent Deacon is called "Deacon", a monsignor is called "Reverend Monsignor" or [left over from pre-Vatican II) "Right Reverend Monsignor"; a bishop, Most Reverend"
