Faith is a gift of the Spirit and not a fruit of the Spirit."But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."Galatians 5:22-23 (New International Version)
The gift of giving or seeking advice about the Christian life is the opportunity to grow in faith and understanding through the wisdom and perspective of others. It allows individuals to navigate challenges, deepen their relationship with God, and receive support from a community of believers. Seeking advice can provide insight, guidance, and encouragement for living out one's faith in a meaningful way.
There are three possible reasons why god did not accept Cains Gift, the first is they type of offering as it was bloodless, the second is the quality of the offering did not meet the standards given in law, the third is that it was not given with the right heart. Most studies say that Cain lacked faith and that is why it was rejected.
God is in heaven. He is a spirit. He was never on the earth, but his son Jesus came to die so you could have entrnal life someday. "Believe in Jesus, and you will be saved" Believe he died for you and rose again, tell him you know your a sinner. Ask him to forgive you from your sins and thou shall be saved. (so you can go to heaven)
The book of Ephesians was written from prison by the apostle Paul. (You can read why he was in prison in the book of Acts starting the last of chapter 21 to the end of that book.) Paul was writing about a serious problem that was affecting the churches in Asia which was a conflict between Jewish and Gentile Christians, and was threatening to destroy the unity of the church. Paul starts out insisting that it was God's purpose from eternity that the gospel be preached to Gentiles (Ephesian 2:12-22) In verse 8 of chapter 2 he says that we are saved by faith, but not our faith. It is the faith that Jesus had that he obeyed the will of God in all things that saves us. It is nothing we did to deserve it, but a gift, or unmerited favor that he offers us. See also Galatians 2:20 the last of the verse (King James Version), Paul says "... I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
The purpose of the gift of tongues in Christian theology is to enable believers to communicate with God in a spiritual language that transcends human understanding, allowing for a deeper connection and expression of faith.

Many believe we should begin the answer to this question with a reminder of the definition of the word 'faith:' Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. A very simple definition of salvation is, 'God's protection.' Now, if one does not have faith, it is impossible to have salvation, because one cannot have salvation without faith. Salvation is a gift. But, the only way to have a gift is to receive it, and that takes faith.
Faith. Faith is a gift from God, and a choice is made to embrace that faith. Christians choose, by faith, to believe that God can do anything.
You don't. At least, you do not clear it away completely, and for ever. It is part of the human condition; you will experience some degree of doubt as long as you are in the flesh. If you are concerned about faith, you can be at peace. If you have been given the gift of faith (the only way that you can possibly have faith, after all) then your doubts cannot harm you. If you have not been given the gift of faith, then no amount of worry over your doubts will do you any good. One cause of concern might be: do my doubts indicate that I have NOT been given the gift of faith? I believe that those given the gift of faith will sometimes experience doubt.
Understanding
A true Christians faith is a gift from God, buildings should not have anything to do with it.
