An intercessor or advocate is someone that comes between us and our accusers or us and justice. In the world, a good example of an advocate is a lawyer. He stands between us and the judge and argues in our behalf. Looking at the christian standpoint, the advocate between mankind and God, or Justice is Jesus Christ. Because no human is perfect, Christ comes between us and the law and intercedes for us. He has paid the price for our sin and is our advocate with justice.
