An example of the Pascal Mystery is when in my friends life, he had reached his "death" very quickly and he had very little time of suffering that he did not realize what had happened. During his freshman year, he got pressured into using drugs with friends and it was just a social thing. But as he continued, he started skipping out of the social events and just smoking at home and letting himself fall into a depression. His family knew about his smoking in the house, they just didn't know how to talk to him about it in a constructive way, so they would just get into fights and his parents later got divorced because the dad thought he had no other outlet. His mom, without the stress of the dad and his opposing views, started to get closer with her son. He would start to open up to her and she helped him get rid of the root of the problem and he slowly weened himself of his drugs with the support if his mom. With the problem gone, he started showing back up for fun parties and asking girls on dates and being a simple teenager again.

What is the Paschal Mystery celebration?

When one talks of a paschal mystery, we most commonly think of The Paschal Mystery. This is the spiritual and/or supernatural experience of the passion, life, crucifixion death, and subsequent resurrection of Jesus Christ. The word Paschal is associated with God's message to the children of Israel about the sacrifice of the first Passover (Paschal) lamb.A paschal mystery has come to mean, even in pagan religions, basically the process of dying and rising, death and new life. We can begin to witness this all around us and in our own lives. In simply terms we see it in the seasons as the life and energy of one dies away only to give re-birth to the next. In the spiritual sense the loss of love or friendship and then the emotional rebirth of that spiritual connection could be experiencing a paschal mystery, perhaps a doctor working a cardiac arrest that saves the patient could also be argued as witnessing this mystery.

How are the sacraments related to jesus' paschal mystery?

In this answer, I assume you are referring to sacraments within the Roman Catholic tradition. The term "paschal mystery" refers to the suffering, death, resurrection, and glorification of Jesus Christ. The main sacrament involved is the Eucharist. The last supper is where Jesus instituted the Eucharist, giving his body and blood to his disciples in the form of bread and wine. Baptism is another main one. In baptism, we die to sin (by going under the water or having it symbolically poured on you) and come alive to new life in Christ, just as Christ died on the cross and was resurrected to new life. The other sacraments, marriage, confirmation, penance, holy orders, and anointing of the sick, do not derive directly from the paschal mystery, but one has to remember that none of them would exist without Jesus' death and resurrection. Without that, Christianity itself would not exist.
