"Frankincense or olibanum (Arabic language: لبٌان, lubbān) is an aromatic resin obtained from trees of the genus Boswellia, particularly Boswellia sacra (syn. B. carteri, B. thurifera) (Burseraceae). It is used in incense as well as in perfumes." [From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankincense]

You know how pine trees have sticky pitch that oozes from breaks in the bark? Frankincense is like that. It's the pitch of a tree that grows on the edge of middle eastern and north African deserts. Unlike pine pitch, it doesn't stay sticky. It dries to what are called "tears", light yellow to golden chunks. These chunks are harvested. They look a bit like amber.

Frankincense has a distinctive pleasant odor, and the tears can be powdered to be used in soaps and perfumes, and in incense (that's where the word comes from), or the chunks can be burned themselves on charcoal to produce aromatic smoke.

How do you make protection candles with stones at the bottom for the recipante to carry with them after the candle is done and the best spell to recite over it for a few days?

There are many ways to make candles, but I'll let you research the mundane part of candlemaking. A good color for protection is purple or white. As far as the magickal elements, you should probably consecrate the stone with frankensence and myrrh incense, then dip it in some holy water. (You can make this by adding a pinch of sea salt to a cup of spring or rain water and stirring it deosil (clockwise) nine times with your finger. As your finger is in the water, infuse it with the intent of protecting the person the candle is for. Just imagine them being enveloped with a white light of protection and send you intent down your arm, into your finger, and int the water.) Let the stone dry. When you have the wax all melted for the candle, stir in a pinch or two of an herb with a protective magickal property. I like to use a couple pinches of granules frankensence. It will smell nice when the candle burns and also start its protection. As far as wheat spell words to use, I don't believe you need any, since you used your powers of intent. If you feel the need to use words, chant anything that shows your intent of protection (many believe if it's "spake in rhyme" it will be more powerful.) Chant your spell nine times. Finally, when the candle has fully dried and hardened, get a couple drops of protection oil and rub on the candle, starting from the bottom to the top of the candle, all the while thinking of your friend being protected. If you don't have any protection oil, make some from olive oil, again, infusing it with the power of protection through your intent. The candle can be made more powerful by setting it out in the full moonlight overnight.
