3) God gave us dominion (Gen.1).

4) People need times of rest (implied in Gen.2:1-3).

5) It is not normal for us to be constantly sedentary (implied in Gen. 2:5).

In Genesis 1-2, human nature is revealed to be created in the image of God, intended to have a close relationship with Him, to be given stewardship over the earth, and to have companionship with one another. It also shows that humans have the capacity to make choices, exercise free will, and experience both obedience and disobedience.

How many years between Genesis chapter15 and Exodus chapter 12?

A.Using Bishop Ussher's dating, the confirmation of the Abrahamic Covenant in Genesis 15 vv.5 & 18 was in 1876BC, and the exodus of the enslaved Hebrews from Egypt in Exodus 15 was in 1446BC, thus making it a period of 430 years. However, Genesis 15:13 also says Abraham's descendents would be enslaved for 400 years:-Gen 15:12-13 (HCSB)Gen 15 (v.12) As the sun was setting, a deep sleep fell on Abram, and suddenly great terror and darkness descended on him. Gen 15 (v.13) Then the LORD said to Abram [later renamed Abraham], "Know this for certain: Your offspring will be foreigners in a land that does not belong to them; they will be enslaved and oppressed 400 years. This difference of 30 years between 400 and 430 years just means that they were not enslaved for the first 30 years.

Is Cain bad?

Cain killed his brother Able because he was jealous because Able was the king's favorite brother. I don't think that Cain is bad but that he had some mental problems or something like that (anger management issues ect.). What do you think? Yes. He was a bad guy. For his jealousy and "rising up to slay his own brother". God cursed Cain to an eternity of wandering the earth restlessly with barren harvests. Gen 4: 10-12. Plus, God marked the guy and ordered no one to touch him. Gen 4:15 That's got to be a bad guy in my book.
