God sets forth His official design for worship and the church in the Holy Scriptures.
Acts 17:24,25,31 "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him [His Son, Jesus Christ] from the dead."
Acts 18:28 "For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, showing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ."
Colossians 1:18 "And he [Jesus Christ] is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence."
All desiring to turn from darkness to light will find that God is not keeping His design for worship and the church a secret.
Matthew 5:14 "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."
Philippians 2:15,16 "That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain."
Acts 4:20 "For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard."
For a believing believer, home is where the Word lives.
this mainly depends on the religion you are.. If you are a Christian/Jewish public would be attending a Church or a Synagogue near where you live, private is being alone at your house praying to God..

In Islam, places of worship are known as mosques or masjids. In Hinduism, places of worship are called temples or mandirs. Does this mean that women should not speak in church services? It is clear from 11:5 that women prayed and prophiesied in public worship. It is also clear in 12-14 that women are given spiritual gifts and are encouraged to exercise them in the body of Chirst. women have much to contribute and can participate in worship services. In the Corinthian culture, women were not allowed to confront men in public. Apparently some of the women who had become christians thought that their christian freedom gave them the right to question the men in public worship. This was causing division in the church. In addition, women of that day did not receive formal religious education as did the men. women could ask questions at home, without disrupting the services. Paul was asking the women not to flaut their christain freedom during worship. The purpose of Pauls words was to promote unity, not to teach womens roles in the church.
