Fasting during the month of Ramadan in Islam, Yom Kippur in Judaism, and Lent in Christianity are all examples of fasts that are considered blessed by adherents of those faiths. A common belief is that God possesses knowledge of all things past, present, and future, known as omniscience. Additionally, God may have knowledge that is beyond human comprehension, such as the mysteries of creation and the afterlife.
People may put material possessions, personal interests, relationships, or even their own ego before God. This can lead to a lack of spiritual focus, priorities out of alignment, and a disconnect from one's faith.
Belief in God is subjective and varies among individuals and cultures. Some religions may consider it a sin to not believe in God, while others may not. It ultimately depends on the beliefs and teachings of the specific religion in question.
