The religion is Judaism.
the old testament is all of the scriptures of the hebrew or jewish religon, during jesus' time the four gospels (mathew, mark, luke and john) were all written as accounts of jesus' life. the old and new testaments are the scriptures of christianity, so jewish beliefs use only the old testament, and the new testament was written and combined with the old testament during jesus' time. there is no exact date for when they were combined, but around and not to far off of the time of jesus' death is about when.
Grace of godlove of god
There is no major religion that specifically requires cutting off the left pinky finger as a religious practice. Some extremist groups or cults may engage in harmful practices like this, but it is not a normative or widely recognized religious belief.
Secularism is not atheism. It separates religion from the daily way of life. However since secularism is all about way of life, they would believe in anything material. They would believe and rely on evidence. Unlike religions that devote acts of providence for the creation of a person, they are likely to believe in evolution - with a rider there may be unexplained segments and the hand of a supernatural force per se in guiding that evolution. Most importantly they believe that no distinction, segregation or division among humans is necessary based on religious beliefs. At the same time, secular folks do have strong opinions about militant religion and therefore contradict themselves as they view such folks as unevolved. One outcome of secularism is the separation of church (or more correctly, religion) and state. Whatever their beliefs are, those who are secular are prone to same errors and prejudices (other than religion based) and need not necessarily be better off as persons or more humane than those with professed faith.
Pretty much all of it. Religion may be important in history to show where civilizations got their beliefs off of, but now? It shouldn't be involved. Religion is a personal choice. You don't have to have one.

I am not sure of your question. If this does not answer your question please rephase it. There is only one New Testament in the Bible. The two main divisions in the Bible are the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old testament tells the story of the creation of the universe and then tells us about Abraham, the father of Israel and his off-spring. Then it goes through the history of Israel up to about 400 B.C. Through out the old testament we are told of prophecies of a coming Messiah. The New Testament starts out with the four Gospels of Jesus Christ, the Messiah that was told about in the Old Testament. A Testament is the same thing as a covenant. The Jews lived under the old covenant (Old Testament). Jesus Christ started the new covenant (New Testament.) A Testament: Hebrews 9:16- "For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives........" Jesus Christ shed His blood and died for the New Testament to come into force.
