There is not a specific scripture that reads, earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. However, Isaiah 25:8-9, 35:10, and Revelations 21:4 speak about God healing the sorrows that come upon the people on Earth.
Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal is not in the Bible. It is a quotation from a Irish poet. It is refers to a grave and may have been used for an epitaph. Emily Dickinson and Florence Nightingale quoted it and sermons have been preached using it.
Revelation in The Bible presents a similar idea, "And God shall wipe away every tear."
The phrase "earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal" is not from the Bible but is a saying or concept that conveys the idea that divine comfort and solace can heal all earthly pains and sorrows.
Trick question? It's not in there. We made it up. Probably from several verses.
Isaiah 25;8-9
The Bible says that "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes," in heaven. So I think that if the people in heaven saw what happens on earth they would grieve. Therefore, I don't think they can see!
In most religious and creation stories, it is believed that heaven was created first, followed by earth. This represents the divine order and hierarchy of the universe.
"Heaven on Earth" is a phrase commonly used to describe a place or experience that brings immense joy, happiness, and peace, akin to the bliss one might imagine in the afterlife. It symbolizes a state of perfect harmony and contentment in one's surroundings or circumstances.
In Christian belief, there is rejoicing and celebration in heaven when a sinner repents. It is seen as a moment of great joy and reconciliation with God.
This phrase from the Lord's Prayer means asking for God's will to be carried out on Earth just as it is in Heaven. It is a request for humanity to live in accordance with God's plans and desires, aligning our actions with His divine purpose.
These words are from the song "Come Ye Disconsolate" by Thomas Moore.
I have done a complete search of the Bible and have found no match to the phrase "Earth has no sorrow". The complete phrase is actually, Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal." This is not a Biblical quote.
There are many people that believe that Earth has no sorrow that heaven can't heal. These people definitely believe that Heaven is a good place where you want to go.
Our father God in heaven can heal your brokenness and sorrow!
You cannot
This scripture refers to the power given to man as sons of God to walk in dominion over the earth and bind or remove on earth what is bound/removed from heaven. This includes sickness, disease, injury, poverty, sorrow, fear, doubt, worry, guilt, addiction, sin and death. You also have the power to loose those things on earth that are loosed in heaven - the fruit and gifts of the Spirit such as love, joy, peace, happiness, self control, gentleness and kindness, and the gift of tongues, interpretation of tongues, wisdom, word of knowledge, discerning of spirits, healing, miracles, and the gift of prophecy.
sorry, you must mean "mandate". you are required to believe in God, and follow his commands. people in earth do not know the picture of heaven. so do not believe in the pictures in Google of heaven. because we cannot go to heaven and back to earth!
Yes. They are all around us. //Scripture tells us that both heaven and hell are geographical places. Hell is thought to be under the earth's surface, miles down. Heaven, although an actual place is harder to pinpoint where it is.
Come Ye Disconsolate, Thomas Moore, Sacred Songs c1816. Haven't found scripture yetThis is the title of an article by Luther E. Smith, Jr., in Clothed with Desolation, September/October 1993.I'd like to add to the above answer...I"ve searched all over but it does not appear that this quote is in the bible. Like the above post states, it is a quote from Thomas Moore's song, "Clothed with Desolation". But I'd like to add that the quote was developed BECAUSE of Scripture's passages detailing that there is nothing impossible for God such as Luke 1:37, 2 Corinthians 1, Psalm 77:1-2, Isaiah 59:1, Psalm 34:19 and so many more. Psalm 34:19 is one of my favorites..it promises God's deliverance from our troubles; "many are the afflictions of the righteous, but He delivers him out of every one of them."
probably to god we are in heaven and to him he is in Earth but as in now we aren'tAnother Answer:The Scripture indicates 3 places known as 'heaven.' They are the atmosphere, space (both Physical realms) and the 'highest heaven,' the Throne of God which is a Spiritual realm. If you are speaking of the latter Spiritual realm, the answer in NO. Humans live in the physical realm with our atmosphere and can travel in Space. However, after the Millennial Rule and the Judgement Process, Scripture indicates that most will change into spiritual children of God and a New Heaven will descend to the New Earth and the Throne of God and Jesus will live with His children for eternity (Revelation 21).
Basically, it means that the pope makes the rules. Whatever he says on Earth will also be acknowledged as law by Heaven.
This is a question which goes to the heart of Christianity and our understanding of it. Jesus claimed to be a King and all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him. He rules over the Kingdom of Heaven. His laws, the benefits accruing from obeying them and the penalties for disobeying them are set out in Scripture. The Kingdom of Heaven even has the equivalent of a written constitution in the New Covenant. Scripture also says that if we are born of water and the Spirit we enter the Kingdom of Heaven. This is obviously a parallel with our citizenship of the country in which we are born making us entitled to all the benefits which go with it. You could say then that we become citizens of the Kingdom of heaven by birth through baptism. If you read Scripture with the Kingdom of Heaven in mind as the central element then you will see that scripture is like a jig-saw which fits together simply and comprehensively.
