During the Hindu festival of Karva Chauth, married women fast from sunrise to moonrise for the well-being and longevity of their husbands. Smoking is generally considered to break the fast as it involves consuming substances, which goes against the traditional practice of abstaining from food and drink. Therefore, it is advised for women observing Karva Chauth to refrain from smoking during the fasting period to maintain the sanctity and significance of the ritual.
Yes, if the granola is free of sweeteners and chemicals. Many people mix whole grains along with nuts, seeds and dried fruit as the base of their granola. You might add a bit of oil. Then you can toast the mixture in a 350 degree oven until it's golden brown. Store the mixture in an air-tight container and serve with unsweetened soy milk (or other unsweetened plant-based milks).
