When did St. Paul live?

Saint Paul was believed to be executed by the Roman Soldiers. Saint Paul was be-headed. The legend says it, that his head feel 3 times on the ground. Afterwards, those very same spots that his head fell, formed three fountains. He died at age 55.

Christian tradition holds that Paul was sent to Rome and executed there, although this is not based on proof of any form. Although it does appear that he was imprisoned at various times, there is no available evidence that he was executed. Acts of the Apostles portrays Paul as a quite young man when Stephen was stoned, probably in his teens, so on this assumption and if Paul really was executed in 64, then he could have been nearly 50.

Clement of Rome seems to suggest that Paul travelled to Spain as he appears to have intended. He may even have died peacefully of old age. We simply do not know.
