Anna in the mew testament was a very old prophetess who lived in the temple all her life, doing both fasting and praying. The Bible mentions only once in the gospel about these two people ,the old man Simon and the old lady Anna. She told Mary a sword will pierce your heart because of him, meaning Jesus. This was to a 17 year old lady.
