Paul, about A.D. 55, wrote a practical letter to the church at Corinth, from the city of Esphesus, addressing many issues. Corinth was close to Athens where the atmosphere was dominated by egoists who paraded themselves as philosophers. The spirit of Athens had penetrated the church in Corinth. Paul contrasts the wisdom of God with the wisdom of the unbelieving world in 1 Corinthians 3:19 "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise, that they are vain."
Paul's letter to the Corinthians addressed various issues in the early Christian community in Corinth, such as divisions within the church, moral misconduct, marriage and celibacy, spiritual gifts, the resurrection of the dead, and the importance of love. Paul emphasized the need for unity, proper conduct, and the centrality of Christ in the lives of believers.
Proverbs 31:1: "The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him." King Lemuel is mentioned nowhere else in the Bible, which has left the door open to all kinds of speculation as to the true identity of this king. The signature says that Lemuel wrote this material, not his mother. The Book of Proverbs is believed to have been written in several successive layers, with the oldest layer dating from the Babylonian Exile. The earliest passages consist of utterances by Lady Wisdom, and other material about her, written when Wisdom began to supercede the ancient goddess Asherah among the Jews. Later passages talk of wisdom in the philosophical sense, obscuring the original message of Wisdom, but apparently without actually removing any Wisdom material. The last of this material is that written by "King Lemuel".Wisdom entered the belief system of the Jews long after the time of King Solomon, who is not otherwise known to have referred to himself as "Lemuel". This, along with other evidence that causes scholars to date Proverbs after the Babylonian Exile, precludes Solomon or his mother as the author of this chapter.
It is in the books of Acts, chapter 17, verses 22-23. He is in Athens and "Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said 'Men of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Now what you worship as something unknown I am going to proclaim to you.'" (Acts 17:22-23 NIV) He then goes on to talk about God and Jesus.
A sermon
It depends if you, yourself, want to. Yuo are closer to angels than you think at most points in time when you need an angel to talk to, you must pray. THAT, is how I see it.Answer:"Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it." (Heb.13:2)

According to the Bible... there are TWO KINDS OF WISDOM:"For it is written: 'I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.' Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the WISDOM OF THIS WORLD? For since in the WISDOM OF GOD the world through its wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe." (I Cor.1:19-21 NIV)"...CHRIST the power of God and the WISDOM OF GOD. For the foolishness of God is wiser than MAN'S WISDOM..." (verses 24-25).
This is often called, 'the collection for the saints' or 'ministering to the saints'. There are three chapters on this in the New Testament that I know of - 1 Corinthians 16 and 2 Corinthians 8 & 9, which if you read, you will be enlightened.
A:It is more normal to talk in terms of the 'undisputed epistles', and the pseudo-Pauline epistles, which are those that are not undisputed. Seven of the thirteen letters attributed to Paul are undisputed, since nearly all scholars accept that Paul did write these: Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Philemon, Galatians, Philippians and 1 Thessalonians. The Pastoral epistles, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy and Titusare undisputed in a different sense, as nearly all scholars say that Paul did not write these. The clear majority of scholars say that Paul did not write 2 Thessalonians, Colossians or Ephesians, but a significant minority of scholars dissent from this consensus, so these could be termed 'disputed' epistles.
Paul was defending himself in this verse by explaining what is has done: 2 Corinthians 11:23 Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. Please read the epistle for a complete understanding.
