Decapolis is east of the Jordan River and north of the Dead Sea.
Assuming you mean the Decapolis of the Biblical New Testament, the following might help. Decapolis was the name given to 10 cities in a region in Jordan and Palestine that were founded mainly between 323BC and the Roman arrival in about 60BC. Note, there is likely to have been more than 10 cities. The cities were generally founded by Hellenists (Greeks) and other peoples of the Greek culture. They were made up of Greeks and local people, usually Jewish and the two groups lived together fairly well, and their culture and religions began to blend with time. The same mix of peoples occupied the cities when the Romans arrived. The cities became powerful "City-States" and began to take on the Roman culture and way of life.
"Dekkapoli" is not a known place associated with Jesus in historical or biblical records. It may be a misspelling or misunderstanding of a different location. The Gospels mention various places where Jesus visited during his ministry, such as Capernaum, Bethany, and Jerusalem.

None He never left Judea (now called Palestine)
Decapolis is actually ten distinct cities. Of them, only two are in Israel. There is Scythopolis which is currently called Beit She'an (בֵּית שְׁאָן) and there is Hippos which is currently just ruins and is called Sussita (סוסיתא) in Hebrew. Both cities are in the eastern Galilee region and are very close to the Sea of Galilee.

In the land of Judea which is in the land of present day Israel. All of Jesus' missions were in Judea, apart from two brief forays into a neighbouring country, The Decapolis.
