Jezebel wan never mentioned in the Quran but Abdullah Yusuf Ali mentions her in , The Holy Qur'an: Text, Translation and Commentary, Note. 4112: "Elias is the same as Elijah, whose story will be found in the Old Testament in I Kings 17-19. and 2 Kings 1-2. Elijah lived in the reign of Ahab (B.C. 896-874) and Ahaziah (B.C. 874-872), kings of the (northern) kingdom of Israel or Samaria. He was a prophet of the desert, like John the Baptist, unlike our holy Prophet, who took part in, controlled, and guided all the affairs of his people. Both Ahab and Azariah were prone to lapse into the worship of Baal, the sun-god worshipped in Syria. That worship also included the worship of nature-powers and procreative powers, as in the Hindu worship of the Lingam, and led to many abuses. King Ahab had married a princess of Sidon, Jezebel, a wicked woman who led her husband to forsake Allah and adopt Baal-worship."Elijah denounced all Ahab's sins as well as the sins of Ahaziah and had to flee for his life. Eventually, according to the Old Testament (4 Kings, 2:11) he was taken up in a whirlwind to heaven in a chariot of fire after he had left his mantle with Elisha the prophet."
Jezebel is not mentioned in the Quran. She appears in The Bible as a Phoenician princess who married King Ahab of Israel and promoted idol worship.
Jehu's wife was named Jezebel. She was known for her wickedness and idol worship, and her story is recorded in the Bible in the book of 2 Kings. Jezebel's actions led to conflict and ultimately her downfall.
Jezebel's fate is described in the Bible, where it is mentioned that she was killed shortly after Ahab's death. After Ahab's death, Jezebel was thrown out of a window by eunuchs in Jezreel, upon the orders of Jehu.
Jezebel was the queen in the Bible who was eaten by dogs. This event is recorded in the Old Testament in the book of 2 Kings, where it is described as a punishment for her wickedness and influence on King Ahab.
Jezebel's husband in the Old Testament was King Ahab of Israel.
King Ahab was killed in battle with the Syrians. I believe tradition says that Naaman was the certain man who drew his bow and his arrow hit Ahab between the joints in his armor. You can read this fantastic story in I Kings. It was prophesied by Elijah that Jezebel shall be eaten by dogs by the wall of Jezreel. II Kings tells us the story of Jezebel's death. Jehu was anointed King of the northern kingdom and he comes to Jezreel and looks up into a window and sees Jezebel. There happens to be a couple of eunuchs in the room with her. So Jehu tells them to throw Jezebel out the window , which they do and Jehu's horse tramples her. Later they went to bury Jezebel and could find nothing of her but her skull, the feet and the palms of her hands. The dogs had eaten her.
