In the Old Testament Elisha brings a widow's son back to life, but he was a boy. I had previously written that John the Baptist was the first man to be raised from the dead in the Bible, but I have no clue why I wrote that. I knew that John was beheaded and never was raised. He died a Martyr and thus there was no reason for him to be raised. Jesus had raised Lazarus from the dead.
