Who ruled Israel in 587 bce?

There was no Israel in 587 BCE. Israel was destroyed by the Assyrians in 722 BCE.If perhaps the question was referring to the Kingdom of Judah which would be destroyed one year later by the Babylonians, the King of Judah at that time was King Zedekiah son of Josiah.

How many times were the Jews exiled in the Old Testament?

10,000UPDATE: I had this same question and was looking for the answer. But when I came across this I knew that this could not be correct. The reasoning is in Ezra 2:64 it states that a little under 50,000 Jews went back to Judah after the exile. So if that many went back then more must have been sent into exile.
