Probably the first Christian persecutor was the Roman Emperor Constantine. He began a policy of persecuting the pagan temples, plundering them of their treasures and even demolishing them on any pretext. One of the most shocking events of his reign was his 'execution' of the pagan Sopater, one of his principal friends and advisers during his years at Constantinople. Sopater, who went in for mystical symbolism was killed on the pretext that he had magically 'fettered' the winds and thus prevented food from arriving at famine stricken Constantinople.
Constantine was followed as emperor by his Christian sons, who continued the persecution of the pagans.
The first Christian persecutors were the Roman authorities, who saw Christianity as a threat to the traditional Roman religion and social order. Emperors like Nero and Domitian initiated persecutions against Christians in the first century AD.
Stephen was a Christian martyr who was stoned to death for his faith. His martyrdom is recorded in the Bible in the book of Acts. As the first Christian martyr, Stephen's devotion to God and forgiveness of his persecutors led to his recognition as a saint in the Christian tradition.
St. Stephen was considered a devout follower of Jesus and one of the first Christian martyrs. He was described as bold in his faith and preaching, as well as being full of wisdom and the Holy Spirit. His steadfastness in the face of persecution and his forgiveness towards his persecutors exemplify his character.
Robert Wadlow, known as the "Alton Giant," was a Christian and attended the First Christian Church in Alton, Illinois.
Traditionally, in Christian belief, Joseph is believed to have died before Mary. This order of death is not explicitly mentioned in religious texts, but it is widely accepted within the Christian faith.

The first documented empire-wide Christian persecution occurred under Maximinus Thrax (reigned 235-238), though only the clergy were sought out. Decius who decreed the Decian Persecution in in 250. this was the first severe persecution of all Christians. Diocletian decreed the great Persecution in 303, which was the worse persecution.
President Isaias Afewerki is from an Orthodox Christian family and from this everyone can assume he is a Christian. However, his Maoist political culture and the fact that he has turned the country into one of the world's worst persecutors of christian faith (including arresting Eritrean Orthodox Patriarch incommunicado for over 8 years) can be taken to suggest he is not a terribly devout Christin.
Persecutors are people who treat someone badly because of their religious beliefs. In the Bible, Jesus urged people to treat their oppressors with kindness and to "turn the other cheek" to their injustices against oneself.
The book titled, "The Fate of the Persecutors of the Prophet Joseph Smith" by N. B. Lundwall, details their fate. I read the book and in some cases the persecutors died gruesome deaths (too gory to describe). Others died in poverty and obscurity. It is interesting reading. I would recommend getting the book and reading it. It is available on Amazon.
Jerusalem was where the first Christian church was born.
Stephen is most probably the first Christian martyr. His death certainly is the first Christian martyrdom recorded.
