The Bible doesn't say that "God had Adam kill a lamb".
When Adam and Eve disobeyed God and were expelled from Eden God made clothes out of animal skins for them - covering for the guilty ones.
Then clothes of skin were provided by God through the death of an animal. This pictures the robe of righteousness which is provided for guilty sinners through the shed blood of Jesus Christ (the Lamb of God), made available to us on the basis of faith.
In the Christian tradition, the sacrifice of the lamb by Adam symbolizes the shedding of innocent blood as atonement for human sin. This act foreshadows the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus, who is often referred to as the "Lamb of God" in the New Testament, offering himself as a sacrifice for the redemption of all humanity.
PETA-types, and the Torah, are two opposites. The Torah specifies that animals were given to us by God for our use (Genesis 1:26), including as food (Genesis 9:3), or for other uses of which sacrifice is one valid example (Leviticus ch.1-7). Animals are to be treated reasonably and humanely (Nachmanides' commentary to Genesis 1:19), but slaughter for valid use is permitted (Deuteronomy 12:21).
The question is inaccurate, since Genesis does not record Adam as having been commanded to offer up anything. His offering was voluntary, and is mentioned in the Talmud, Avodah Zara 8a. The offerings of Cain, Abel and Noah (Genesis ch.4 and ch.9) were also voluntary.

The lamb is commonly associated with innocence, purity, and sacrifice in various cultures and religions. In Islamic belief, Adam is considered a prophet because he received guidance and knowledge from God and conveyed it to his descendants. However, in Jewish and Christian traditions, Adam is not typically classified as a prophet.
In Christian theology, God did forgive Adam for his sin of disobeying Him in the Garden of Eden. Adam did ask for forgiveness by confessing his sin and seeking reconciliation with God. This act of repentance and seeking forgiveness is viewed as a key aspect of the story of Adam and Eve.
im not sure but i think its his left side Genesis 2:21 -And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. it waz his right side
When the "Lord God" found them naked he made garments and placed them on Adam. The scriptures teaches that the "Lord God" is Yahshua/Yahweh or Jesus Christ. Christ is the Lamb and it was wool from the Lamb that was placed on Adam. The Lamb fabric placed on Adam and Eve is also the Holy Spirit within. Adam and Eve at first had glorified bodies, but lost it (as we do when we sin) and when Jesus shows up 'grace' has to be restored thru him and then we get the garments (Holy Spirit) within. We have to wait until the resurrection to get the new incorruptible body back.
Jesus of Bethlem (Christ) is the Lamb/son of God. The "lamb of God" is Jesus Christ. He is considered the lamb because he was slain as a sacrifice for our sins.

In "The Lamb," Blake demonstrates romanticism by portraying the lamb as innocent, pure, and connected to the divine. This connection is emphasized through the imagery of Christ as the Lamb of God, reflecting the romantic belief in the inherent goodness and beauty of nature as well as the spiritual interconnectedness of all living beings. The poem's gentle tone, simple language, and focus on the lamb's qualities evoke emotions of wonder, gratitude, and reverence for the natural world.
