Akhenaton was Pharaoh of Egypt from 1353--36 BC (the 18th dynasty) He developed a monotheistic cult worshiping the god, Aton.
Thus, he a took the name Akhenaton which means roughly, 'Useful to Aton.'
Akhenaten introduced religious reforms, including a form of monotheism, as well as introducing realism in the visual arts. It is unlikely that his religious reforms had much to do with his changes to the visual arts. He had broken free of the old conservatism and expressed his ideals in the two different spheres. Neither change outlasted him for long.

Don't worry about what other people practice and focus on tolerance, acceptance, and respect for both the people of that religion and the religion itself. Don't be afraid of what others might think of your religion. Don't try and force your religion on other people. Don't preach your religion outside of a church or where ever you pray/practice unless you are asked a question about your religion and then only answer the question.
Religion is for people who are influenced by mortals and try to influence others. Saintist on the other hand is inspired only by Saints (Saints are immortal since they do not identify with body but with spirit). he/she does not care much for the mortal world and religion.
A universalizing religion seeks to appeal to all people worldwide, regardless of their background. It often aims to spread its beliefs and practices to all societies in order to achieve global adherence. Examples include Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism.
