Well let's think hypothetically. If you had a son, you would love him. Would you let him skateboard? Probably. You would tell him to be careful and to go have fun. So you'd give him some good advice and let him go off and make his own mistakes. So if he fell and hurt himself, what would you do? Stop him from ever Skateboarding again? No, because although you have the power interfere and prevent your child's pain, you choose to show you love him by letting him learn his own lessons. Pain is a part of growing up, it's how we learn.

Jesus did not said that good people are weaker than bad people. He did said in Matthew 10:16 "Behold, I will send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." The sheep cannot hurt the wolf, if someone is going to get hurt, the sheep will. That's the meaning of His words. He tels Christians not to hurt anybody. His disciples can be hurt, even die, but never hurt other people. But that's not week, that's the way God loves, and that's the way He wants us to love. Jesus had the power of God, yet He sacrificed Himself on the cross. When you have the power to do harm or hate, but you choose instead to love and sacrifice for others, that's the real power and spiritual maturity. There is nothing week in such a person.
A good way to repent is to first understand that what you have done is a sin and that you have hurt somebody. Second is to ask God forgiveness for what you have done, and lastly, go to the person you have hurt and apologize asking for forgiveness with a humble and contrite heart.
You serve God in spite of this self centered world.Anyone can be saintly if everyone around them is kind and loving. The challenge is to be a good person and serve your God in spite of the flawed people around you. Many people are doing just that. Your first step in serving God is to look, and see, all the good things, and good people, that you are missing.
For me (in no particular order), 1: Why does God allow 'evil' and suffering to exist when he is perfectly capable of creating a realistic, enjoyable world without it? 2: Why does God require our approval as an omniscent, omnipotent and omnipresent being? 3: Why does God allow people to defame the idea of religion with crusades and holy wars? 4: For what possible reason would God as an omniscent, omnipotent and omnipresent being want to create us for? 5: Why does God allow Satanistic religions to exist? 6: Why does God allow so many religions of whatever sort to exist in the first place? 7: Why would love such a selfish, parasitic and generally undesirable species such as humans? 8: Where does God come from?
All things happen for a reason.
God allows people to get hurt because he loves them. it sounds pretty wierd, but you can grow closer to God when you grow through hard times. remember that he is always with you, and will always love you, take care of you, provide for you, forgive you, etc.
No.
Depiction of people or God.
If you choose to believe in a god, they exist because he wanted them to exactly as they are. He doesn't allow them to exist, he wants them to exist.
Yes it does hurt your friendship with god.
God is everywhere. Its people who make it good or bad.
Sometimes being alone is good for spiritual healing, or maybe it's a sign that you need to associate more with people...
Very good question. Sometimes God does these things to get our attention, because we pull away from him. Sometimes it's because he wants certain people in heaven with him. I do hope I answered, or at least came close to answering, your question. Now, I have a question for you... How can a bad God allow happiness and rejoice?
God is good, and a true Christian should realize that.
You are probably thinking of the play, "The Trial of God" by Eli Wiesel. The play is based on the author's experiences in Auschwitz. The main theme of the play is theodicy--if God exists, how does he allow such evil things, like pogroms and the Holocaust, to happen to good people?
