I am going to answer this question as a Christian. The Christian God, in Jer 29:11 says "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you good hope and a future". Sometimes when we pray prayers of petition, we ask for things that are not good for us. God is loving and omniscient; he knows everything and so knows what is good for us- he doesn't answer every prayer.
You can liken it to an earthly father. Lots of fathers don't give their children everything they want, and that is not because the fathers don't love their kids. If the father is able to give but still decides not to, it might mean that he doesn't think it's good for you.
The same applies to God, he loves us and knows what's best for us so sometimes he doesn't give us what we think is best for us. Another way to think of it is this: God always answers prayer; sometimes the answer is 'no'.
God only hears the prayers of the saved(John 3:16) who have apoligized for their sins that they realize they have commited. His answer for them is always, "Wait, Yes, or No." BUT, God ALWAYS receives those who ask for salvation.
Those that believe in God believe that he hears all prayers. In most major religions, God is omnipotent and omniscient, so he would hear the prayers of everyone.
God is the Creator of all on earth. One doesn't need to be a Christian to pray to God and, yes, God does answer ALL prayer, although the answer might not always be what we would like it to be but it will be what is best for us.
Philippians 4:6 "...in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Many prayers to God are requests in harmony with His will. I John 5:14 "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:" Prayers of worship strengthen our relationship with God and our devotion to Him. We build the mindset that we can go to Him for anything and everything. Romans 8:14-16 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have... received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:" Intercessions are prayers with care and concern for the needs of others. I Timothy 2:1 "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men." Romans 8:27 "And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God." Prayers of praise and thankfulness to God help us build an attitude of gratitude. We more fully recognize that God's promises to us have been fulfilled. Ephesians 5:20 "Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Colossians 3:17 "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."
Yes, God listens to everyone's prayers, regardless of their past actions or beliefs. It is believed that God's love and mercy extends to all individuals, regardless of their sins. It is never too late to seek forgiveness and guidance through prayer.
It was Abel he would be praying when he offered Jehovah which is Gods personal name a sacrifice in gen4v4
The belief that a god is always listening to prayers and requests varies among different religions and individuals.
Yes, God answers prayers according to his will, which may not always align with what we want or expect.
It explains that prayers to a god are not always answered, not that a god does not exist. However, if the god in question meets some criteria that would allow an expectation for all prayers to be answered, it does not exist.
Prayers of petition, thanks, repentance, & praise.
God always listens to our prayers.
that is actually obsolete, it is now worded demand of petition
they are "series of prayers to god"
Prayer helps people who believe in a god or gods, they believe God will ALWAYS answer your prayers.
adoration,petition,intercession,offering,and Thanksgiving
I think that god always answers prayers, even if its a no or not what you wanted. BUt an unanswered prayer probably means like that they did not get what they wanted.Even though that was gods way of answering it it wasnt what they wanted. That is the truth. God answers all prayers even if we don't see it.
Prayers are said at Mass to offer worship, thanksgiving, petition, and praise to God. They help to unite the community in faith, express shared beliefs, and seek spiritual guidance and strength. The prayers also serve to reflect on the teachings of the Church and convey intentions for the Church and the world.
No. ANSWER: God has no reason to answer an unbelievers prayer UNLESS it is a prayer for salvation. After salvation God will answer your prayers. You do not have to be baptized to have your prayers answered. Your prayers are addressed to God in Jesus' name. If you do not belong to God through Jesus Christ God will not hear you.
