To blame God for any of humanity's inhumanity places the blame in the wrong place. For those who believe in God, they believe God gives us "free will"--- meaning we can choose to do good or do bad, to do wrong or do right. According to this belief, God will not insert him/herself into a person's free will, and God will only become a force against doing wrong when we ask him/her for help to control our wrongful desires.
BUT---- child abuse is not only a problem of the Soul and a person's Moral Intellect. Child abuse is a societal problem, just like excessive drinking, drug use, robbery, arson, etc. Society is charged with protecting the rights of children, but society fails. We each must regard children as more than property, a view held in past centuries toward children (just like Slaves were once "owned" and not viewed as having rights). When each of us pays attention to children's issues and children's rights, and when we speak up for children and their protection, we can rightly turn to God and say,
"I did not let abuse happen!"The three repeated phrases in Genesis 1 are "And God said, 'Let there be...'", "And there was evening, and there was morning—the [x] day.", and "And God saw that it was good."
Genesis 18:14. It was where GOD has promised Abraham and Sarah, whoms names he changed from Abram and Sarai, that he was going to bless them with a child and they are wondering how. Sarah evened laughed at such an unlikely thing. Then GOD poses the question, Is anything too hard for the Lord?"
The question of why God allows bad things to happen is a complex one that has been debated for centuries. Many believe that free will plays a role in this, as humans have the ability to make choices that can lead to negative consequences. As for the idea of God testing faith, some find comfort in the belief that challenges can strengthen one's faith and character, rather than interpreting it as God's desperation for recognition through suffering. Ultimately, individuals have differing beliefs and interpretations regarding the nature of God and suffering.
God instructed Moses to go to Pharaoh and demand the release of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. He was to tell Pharaoh, "Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the wilderness."
God did not allow David to build the temple in Jerusalem because he had shed much blood in his lifetime. However, God did bless David by promising that his son Solomon would be the one to build the temple instead.

God Let World War 2 happen because he had it all planned out, and he knew what was going to happen, but he didn't want us to be forced into a decision because he loves us, more than we realise.
If there ore no other legal ramifications like child abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, I would would say the mother has no legal grounds to disallow the father to see his son.

Child Protection Services are there to investigate child abuse and situations where a child is in a harmful situation. Not being allowed a video game is neither of those.
There is nothing good about child abuse because of the emotional and sometimes physical scars that the abuser leaves behind. The abused child becomes an empty shell and a poor remnant of their former self. All too often, the offender is let off too leniently and the child may be abused again.
