The scriptures denote that Jehovah God wants worship in a specific fashion (Ephesians 4:5), meaning that if the religion that claims to worship Him is not following what the scriptures outline, He doesn't support them. Jesus pointed out that principle while on Earth-You know who's part of the true religion based on their words and actions. (Matthew 7:15-20)

Science relies on the laws of physics. Faith and religion have no bearing on the laws of physics, unless you believe God created the laws of physics. While you can believe in God and be a scientist, it's hard to believe in the Big Bang theory and Creationism, too. And, modern physics now believes that God had no part in the Big Bang. That said, God and faith can still play a large part in our lives, just not when it comes to science.

If you believe in God, then there's no more need for religion. Religion is just like a road map that will lead you to your destination (God). Once you reached your destination (God), you don't need the roadmap (Religion) anymore. Those who need religion are those who are still seeking for God. Or still not certain they have already found God. Answer Another way to look at this question is to consider what cultural or ethnic tradition you feel comfortable in: for instance, if your family background is Scandinavian, you may feel a cultural affinity for Lutheran church, or if Irish, Catholic, etc. The best way to find out is to attend several services at different local churches and see which one resonates with you. And if none do, that's OK too--you can also find a way to honor God in your own way.
