From my personal perspective, the question is not "Why is there a God?" but is "Why do we need a God?"
My answer is that there is a God because humans need a God. If there were no God then humans would not have a leader or knowledge. Throughout the years The Bible was created to help guide humanity. And in that bible was God. God was there to teach us, guide us, help us, fulfill us. He is our father and we are his children. I'm not much of an expert on religion but I have a bit of knowledge to help answer questions that are misunderstood by most people.
