The soul is a spirit which has no tactile form where as the body is a lump of clay which has no life of it's own. The body is alive while the soul is in residence, providing the soul with a functioning physical counterpart. When the soul is called out of the body, it goes to its final destination and the body begins immediately to rapidly decompose, returning to the fundamental essence from which is is made, that is, dust. What is gloriously awesome for those who trust Jesus for salvation is that the soul will eventually be given a new and perfect body, like unto Christ's. Going back in history, the concept of 'soul' was not universally understood. Most of the Hebrew Scriptures seem to hold to a more unified concept of living where there is no distinction between body and soul. For example, all people, however great, ended up as did the body in a mysterious and shadowy place called Sheol. We have to accept the reality that this dualistic belief in distinct body and soul (Cartesian Dualism) is a matter of faith. There is no demonstrable evidence pointing to the reality of this dualistic body-soul connection. For faith-based communities this dualism is clear and obvious; for non-believers it is unfathomable.
This statement suggests that our true essence is our soul, which transcends our physical form. It implies that the soul is the most essential aspect of our being, with the body being merely a temporary vessel.
What happens to the Soul at death? Do we see the Soul leave the body? Although we don't, we know that is what causes death, that is why we cremate or bury a body. Where does the Soul go? If the Soul leaves the body, then it has to go somewhere and it doesn't travel through space to go somewhere. It just merges with the Spirit that is everywhere. The best way to understand how the Soul is a part of the Universal Spirit is to blow air into a balloon. Where do you get the air from? From the air that is everywhere. If you burst the balloon, where will the air go? Into the air that is everywhere. So does the Soul. The Soul is energy, is a power and we can feel that power not only inside us but we can feel that power all around us.
The soul is the spiritual body and has no mass density, so to speak, it is generally desired, howver that amputated limbs (if possible) be buried in sanctified ground in sealed boxes, rather than merely being tossed out as disposable Hospital waste. Have you heard that new Pentecostal theme song- Got a talking Dove singing- I Aint Got No Body! as the spirit moves you! That would be a good theme song for.. what else- the Phantom.
The concept of the immorality of the soul typically refers to the belief that the soul is eternal and does not die when the physical body does. This idea is often associated with religious or spiritual beliefs that posit a continuation of existence after physical death.
Beliefs about the afterlife and the soul vary widely among cultures and religions. Some believe that the soul moves on to another realm, while others believe the soul lingers in the earthly realm. Ultimately, what happens to the soul after death is a matter of personal and cultural beliefs.
No it is impossible to separate body and soul because both body and soul are the same.Just we have to realize it....
This is called cremation. In the United States human remains must be cremated in some type of cremation container, which can range from a cardboard box to a casket, either which must have a lid.

When the body engages in good deeds, it is pleasure for the soul.
The soul never be injured and body can b injured, the body can live in a time period and soul leave countinious in the universe.
A human being doesn't have a spiritual body. Soul is an energy needed for the functionality of a body. It is not a spirit or anything else. A body's functionality is based on the auto mechanism. There are spirits but they are separate elements. There are many spirits with a human being. During sleep most or almost all of your spirits quit and return when you wake up. Sometimes they take little time (may be in seconds) to return. During this period if you wake up, a kind of confusion prevails in your mind and you cannot understand at once for few seconds if someone talks to you. This is because of lack of spirits. Your spirits didn’t come to office in time. This is like starting of a computer. After you have started the computer, you have to wait for few seconds or minutes until your computer opens all programs and make them ready. If you use it immediately some blockage may occur. The same is the case with the human beings. God's direct intervention in individuals' affairs is very rare. God doesn't watch each and every human being at the same time and cannot live with each and everyone to guide them. These works are done by the spirits. God had created different kinds of spirits for various purposes. He had made the spirits to watch, guide and determine the destiny of the human beings from their daily activities, talks and thoughts too. Your past determines your present and your present determines your future. God has given freewill to all creatures including human beings. According to this, all human beings have all right to live a life as they wish. But if it happens to be bad and hurts someone, they have to face the consequences. These consequences are created by spirits. It's a natural system. After death no one lives in any form. Heaven and hell are only for spirits, not for human beings. God is a mystery even to the spirits. Spirits are not eternal beings but their lifetime is long. Spirits are separate elements. A human being during his/her lifetime is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. They are knowledge, skills, feelings, emotions, instincts, interests and everything. Further there will be always some spirits with you on behalf of your parents, friends, relatives and Gods you believe. Only these spirits make you remember them in a certain situations. All of these spirits are your consciousnesses and memories. Even thoughts are not your own. For example, when you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another the spirits think and you just listen, choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts. A mind is a group/formation of many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. A mind is just like a computer's mind. After the computer is completely destroyed you will not get its mind. The same is the case with the human beings. A brain is a device used by the spirits to control the body and mind. (A senior spirit or a chief can control other spirits) A human being doesn't have a spiritual body. Soul is an energy needed for the functionality of a body. It is not a spirit or anything else. A body's functionality is based on the auto mechanism. After death all spirits which accompanied a person quit and go to different places searching new bodies. No one lives after death in any form. All human beings are just robots made of flesh and bones and toys of the spirits for their games.
It is true that a Soul must be in a newborn after death. But we must realize that we don't have a Soul, we are the Soul. When does the Soul go into a newborn after death? We don't ask questions. We think it is on our birthday when we are born. But we know that the power of the Soul is alive when the baby is kicking in the mother's womb. In fact the power of the Soul comes alive, nine months before when two cells become one, the zygote. But that Soul power makes that one cell become an embryo, our organs grow and the Soul gives power to us. We think of a Soul being a product that moves from body to body. The reality is we are that Soul, and we are covered by different layers. We have to overcome this ignorance to discover the Soul within.
Purity of the soul and that of the body go hand in hand. This When one's soul is pure that person gets good feelings of the body. Also, when one's body is pure, their soul will feel way more pure.
Their beliefs led Egyptians to mummify their dead. When the person died their soul left their body. The soul was then judge by Osiris and to live eternally it must reunited with its body. The soul had to be able to recognize its body.
