To show respect not only to God but also to others in the church. If you are not quiet others are distracted from what the preacher is saying. God sent him with a message and if you are disrupting that message you are not only disrespecting the man of God but God himself.

Just like God sent Jonah to Nineva. If the people had not heard what he had to say they would have been destroyed. If the preacher has been given a specific message to save the soul of man and the person intended to hear it could not because of your distraction, you may be responsible for that lost soul.
