A Catholic may disagree with an atheist view on the creation story because for Catholics, the creation story in the Bible is considered sacred and divinely inspired. They believe in the theological truths presented in the story, such as the existence of God as the creator of the universe. Atheists, on the other hand, do not believe in a god or a divine being, so they would not accept the religious explanations provided in the creation story.
People get worked up about God because belief in a higher power often provides comfort, purpose, and guidance in their lives. While the concept of God may be beyond human comprehension, faith allows individuals to forge a connection and seek meaning in the divine. It is this relationship that drives people to explore, question, and understand their beliefs.
"God is the God of all mankind. He does not make Himself the private property of any country or nation, and does the work in His plan unconstrained by any form, country, or nation. ...... No matter where the footprints of God are, He is the God of all mankind. For example, the Lord Jesus is not only the God of Israelites, but is also the God of all people in Asia, Europe, and America, and even more the only God in the entire universe."from "The Appearance of God Has Brought a New Age" in The Word Appears in the Flesh
I disagree. To "be good" is to follow the golden rule: do unto others as you would they do unto you, a moral principle that is worded differently in other religions but always means the same thing.
Isaiah and Jeremiah (Isaiah 11:11-16; Jeremiah 23:3 and 31:7-9)
A:If God could and would kill all the people who lie, there would be no one left on this earth. Either God can not kill people who lie, perhaps because he does not exist, or he is a loving God who would not do so.
A:Voltaire did not believe the Christian God exists but was prepared to fight to the death for the right of others to disagree with him. That is the way it should be. People must have the absolute right to believe in God or the absolute right not to believe in God, and any discussion must respect the opposite view.
If you choose to believe in a god, they exist because he wanted them to exactly as they are. He doesn't allow them to exist, he wants them to exist.
Most people would disagree... however, different people perceive God in different ways, so, to you, he could be a human being with wings and a pig head. It all depends.
If god didn't exist then the hole world and all the planets and galaxy's would never happen
its playing god
Nobody knows what God wants ... but lots of people claim to. Too bad they all disagree. yes, god wants people to baptized. baptism is important for christianity.
It explains that prayers to a god are not always answered, not that a god does not exist. However, if the god in question meets some criteria that would allow an expectation for all prayers to be answered, it does not exist.
God does not discriminate anyone, but has requirements for all those who would like to be part of his purpose for mankind. Those requirements existed from day one, when he created the human race. Read Genesis 2. 15-17. According to Psalm 37: 29, which reads. " The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it. Adam and Eve had that choice. Adam knew that if he did not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and bad, he would not have died. That command in Genesis 2: 17 would have made no sense if Adam and Eve were meant to grow old and die anyway. Genesis chapter 3 and Romans 5: 12 in mankind's history. Ephesians 5: 5 shows that no unclean person will inherit the Kingdom of God, which is His government that is going to bring peace on earth. Jehovah God has set his standards and we are free to accept them or not. Those standards are no sexually immoral person or unclean person or greedy person, which means being an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of the Christ and of God. Ephesians 5: 8 reads: For you were once in darkness, but you are now light in connection with the Lord. Go on walking as children of light. Once again we have that choice. Ephesians 5: 9, 10 reads: " For the fruitage of the light consists of every sort of goodness and righteousness and truth. Keep making sure of what is acceptable to the Lord. Imagine a loving mother getting her little boy ready for school. She makes sure that he has bathed and that his clothes are neat and clean. This keeps him healthy and shows others that his parents are taking good care of him. Similarly, our loving Father, Jehovah, wants us to be clean--both physically and morally. When we are clean, we benefit ourselves and bring honour to him. 1 Peter 1: 16 shows what Jehovah God tells us in these words. " You must be holy, because I am holy". So to answer your question. There is no discrimination against anyone, but the requirements from all those who want to be part of the new world that we are awaiting according to God's promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell. Read 2 Peter 3: 13. 2 Peter 3. 14 encourages us to do our utmost to be found finally by God spotless and unblemished and in peace. It is an invitation to live up to God's requirements, with freedom to do so. Not a discrimination.
Some people may believe that God is a manifestation for man's need to hope for a better place after we're done here. Many Christians would disagree and believe God is a real, living being.
Unless the rabbi was a Messianic Jew he would disagree. A Catholic priest would agree with the claim that Jesus was God.
so people can pray in it and to respect our god jesus
